We’re looking for a passionate, detail-driven Account Executive to join our collaborative team. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience in PR or marketing who thrives on crafting compelling narratives, managing dynamic campaigns, and building strong relationships with both clients and media.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and execute integrated communications strategies across PR, media relations, digital, social, events, and more.
- Manage day-to-day client communications and deliverables with professionalism and proactive attention to detail.
- Pitch stories and build strong relationships with media, influencers, and other key stakeholders.
- Create high-quality content including press releases, messaging frameworks, media lists, reports, and social copy.
- Support crisis and issues communications efforts when needed with precision, speed, and calm.
- Monitor media coverage and measure campaign success using best-in-class tools and metrics.
- Contribute creatively to brainstorms, client campaigns, and team problem-solving.
- Stay informed on trends in media, communications, and culture to bring fresh thinking to our work.
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- 2–4 years of experience in public relations, communications, or integrated marketing (agency experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong writing and editing skills — you know how to tell a story, tailor a pitch, and make language work hard.
- Experience managing social media or digital campaigns and understanding how they integrate with traditional PR.
- Organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team structure.
- Passionate about clients, their stories, and the power of strategic communication to make a difference.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism or marketing
- 2-4 years of PR or marketing experience
- Passion for doing great work, team spirit and excellence in client service a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and in social media channels
- In-depth understanding of public relations, social media, crisis communication and issues management
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- 1-2 years of demonstrated media relations experience (writing pitches, pitching press and securing coverage) — we are looking for a pitch hitter!
- Basic account management skills, including budget analysis, delegation and client communications
- Positive and professional attitude and demeanor that lends itself to quality client service
- A committed team player with a dedicated work ethic

Responsibilities
This Account Executive will support the team on a number of high profile and dynamic accounts. This includes building and maintaining key client relationships and implementing multi-level communication programs.
Core responsibilities include developing and editing many different types of written materials; performing proactive/reactive media outreach with local print, broadcast and online reporters; social media communication and website content; participating in meetings or other special events.

Physical Demands
- Sit for long periods of time
- Attend onsite at clients’ offices, events, as needed to help capture content in Seattle (and possibly other cities, depending which accounts are assigned)
