MANAGER

Fearey, an established independent communications and marketing firm, is seeking an exceptionally bright, motivated, and team-oriented individual to support our Amazon Community Activation team in Seattle.
This is a hybrid role. You will have a desk in an office in Seattle and will be required to attend or staff events as well be present in the office 1 to 3 days a week.
In this role you will be joining a fun, fast-moving, collaborative and supportive team, whose work provides a unique opportunity to develop your skills in event coordination, partnership development and project management. The team works to create engaging and unique experiences for multiple stakeholder groups and is looking for a teammate who thinks big and creatively to help us deliver on that goal.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, PR, business, or similar field and 5+ years working as an employee in marketing, events, community relations, or PR.
- OR 7-9+ years working as an employee in marketing, events, PR or relevant experience
- A task-oriented leader, proficient in planning, organizing, executing, and communicating
- Positive and professional attitude and demeanor that lends itself to quality client service and team building
- Excellent written and verbal skills, strong account management skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter – ability to work well alone and with others

- Confident talking to client leadership and partners, both online and in-person
- Comfortable in a public-facing marketing, events and promotions role
- Solutions-focused, driven by results yet able to work through ambiguity
- Excellent communication skills: solid grammar, ability to write concisely, great on the phone, in email and in person

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and support program events, activations, and promotions
- Manage team projects from concept to completion, ensuring projects are on-time and on-budget
- In-person execution and facilitation of events
- Complete team reporting and project tracking
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders
- Track and drive completion of key deliverables and report on results
- Support other core administrative activities
This fast-paced, challenging role requires an individual with flexibility, good judgment, an eye for accuracy, consistent character, and get things done under tight timelines. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as professionalism in dealing with team leaders is critical. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, is self-driven and adapts to changing circumstances with grace.
The role requires you to be incredibly organized and possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance, reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, while taking effective action without having to know the total picture. Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and business partner roles and responsibilities for this team is important. We have fun but work hard together.

Physical Demands
- Sit for long periods of time
- Attend onsite at clients’ offices, events, as needed to help capture content in Seattle (and possibly other cities, depending on which accounts are assigned)
