Content Creator + Digital Marketing

  • Seattle, WA
  • Duration: Three-month internship, with possibility for hire
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with room for flexible hours due to content capture needs
  • Location: Hybrid, In-office Tuesday & Wednesday in our Columbia City office
  • Compensation: $20.76/hour. Travel time will be billable.

We are seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator + Digital Marketing Intern with a passion for social media, digital storytelling, and visual content creation. This role will primarily focus on creating engaging photo and video content for a variety of local Seattle-area clients, helping bring client brands to life across social media platforms through compelling, authentic content.

The Content Creator + Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting with content ideation, planning, on-site content capture, and creative execution. This includes visiting client locations throughout the Seattle area to film and photograph content, contributing creative ideas, and supporting the development of social media campaigns that align with client goals and brand messaging.

While content creation will be the primary focus of this internship, you will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of digital marketing and agency operations. Depending on business needs and individual interests, the intern may assist with tasks such as website content updates, basic search engine optimization (SEO) implementation, paid campaign creation, reporting, and other client support activities. Training and guidance will be provided for these responsibilities, and they are intended to supplement the internship experience.

This position is designed for someone eager to build real-world content marketing experience, expand their skill set beyond content creation, and gain insight into how integrated content strategies support client success. The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, self-motivated, and excited to learn in a collaborative agency environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Assist with content planning, including content concepts, outlines, and creative ideas aligned with client goals and brand messaging.
  • Capture photo and video content throughout the Seattle region, including Kirkland, South Lake Union, Downtown Seattle, and surrounding areas.
  • Edit images and video clips into engaging social media content
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure content is delivered on schedule and meets quality standards
  • Assist with other team responsibilities as needed, including scheduling and publishing organic content, supporting paid social campaign launches, and implementing SEO updates (training will be provided)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma
  • College track in communications, marketing, or digital media preferred
  • Strong interest in social media, content creation, photography, and videography
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and built-in editing tools, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Basic photo and video editing skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations throughout Seattle
