On Sept. 14, the “Louie Loves” fundraiser will donate 10 percent of sales, up to $50,000, to the American Red Cross to support its efforts to restore the areas hit hardest by the hurricane.

Dallas News: Huge new Irving music venue opens this week, serving first music — then meals
Starting this month and continuing through the spring, the Music Factory will open new food, drink and music venues every month. One of the earliest to open will be the latest outpost of Dallas-based Bar Louie. It will be the seventh Bar Louie locally, in a chain with 125 locations in the U.S. Combining food, drink and live entertainment in a swanky new setting isn’t unheard of, but it’s a new addition for Bar Louie.
